The Coryell Gallery at the Porkyard, 8 Coryell Street, Lambertville, New Jersey is in a renovated sausage factory, down an alleyway and alongside the historic Delaware & Raritan Canal. The gallery is open Wednesday through Sunday, noon to 5. On the upper level of the building is, the well known Hamilton's Grill Room Restaurant, open for dinner seven days a week. As part of the Porkyard, is the famous Boat House,a pub-like bar.
Janet Marsh Hunt, who comes from a family of well known distinguished artists, notably Reginald Marsh with whom she studied at the Art Students League in New York, has been director of the Coryell Gallery since 1981, representing nationally prominent artists in the gallery who have exhibited regionally and nationally in juried and invitational exhibitions. Artists I have represented over the years, who are no longer living are: Ranulph Bye, Katharine Steele Renninger, Sigmund Kozlow, Louis Bosa, Charles W. Ward, Edward Redfield, William Lathrop and Harry Leith-Ross, Emily Abbott Nordfeldt, and Anne Steele Marsh.
