Charles R. Ross, Watercolors
Charles R. Ross, a native of Philadelphia, had his formal art sudies at the Fleisher Art Memorial and the Philadelphia Museum College of Art. After College, he continued studying watercolor with the renowned watercolorist W. Emerton Heitland and has been actively painting for over thirty years. His work is inspired by the rural fields and villages of the Delaware Valley area and the rugged coast of Maine. Ross has won many awards over the years,
including from the Annual Juried Art Exhibits at Phillips Mill; this summer The Hudson Valley Art Association, 2009, at the National Arts Club, NYC and the American Artists Professional League, at the Salmagundi Club, NYC. His works are in major collections throughout the country.
