THE ARTISTS STATEMENT: The moods of nature have been my primary concern as an artist. But I do not wish to portray them in a literal fashion. By developing the techniques of watercolor, oil painting and other mediums, I attempt to capture the essence of the natural subject I am depicting. At times they result in a semi-abstract feeling in my work.
