Steve Zazenski, Watercolors

Steve Zazenski was born and raised in Bayonne, New Jersey. He received his BFA from the New York Institute of Technology and has been a full time artist since 1978. He now lives in Bucks County with his family and is known primarily for his traditional landscapes, through which he has developed a series of classes and workshops entitled "A Logical approach to Watercolor". He is a sought-after demonstrator for both private and public art associations and because of this has a loyal client base. His subject matter is mainly inspired by the landscapes of Bucks County, New England and surrounding region, as well as his travels to Europe and the UK.

He has done commercial work for several large companies and his work has appeared both in television and film. Zazenski is the recIpient of over 150 awards, including from the American Artists professional League; New Jersey Watercolor Society; Garden State Watercolor Society; the Washington Square Outdoor Art Exhibition; RittenHouse Square Exhibition; Salmagundi Club and the Rockport Art Association.

His works are in public and private collections which include: the Library of Congress; Smithsonian; First National Bank of New Jersey; Mr.& Mrs. Edward Muskee; Mr. & Mrs. Richard Kiley; Rupert Holmes; former Polish President Lech Walesa; Congressman Barney Frank and Cokie and Steve Roberts.
